Our 2006 Chardonnay "Andrew's Reserve" is sourced entirely from the Sleepy Hollow Vineyard in Santa Lucia Highlands AVA, Monterey County. The cool marine climate, soils, and exposures contribute to the exceptional Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from this region. The 35-year-old Wente clone Chardonnay vines (some of the oldest Chardonnay vines in California) of the Sleepy Hollow Vineyard yield wines of intense layered pear, peach, lemon and pineapple fruit, with a firm balancing mineral acidity. We age this wine for 9 months in 33% new French oak, 66% neutral oak, imparting a subtle vanilla spice but allowing full expression of the fruit. We hope you enjoy this small-lot, handcrafted wine. 25 cases made.

Morris Ranch Vineyard is located on a steep hillside near Petaluma in the Sonoma Coast AVA. Its west-facing exposure and the cool marine climate of the Sonoma Coast, with morning fog, sunny afternoons, constant winds, and chilly nights, allow for long ripening ideal for the production of exceptional Pinot Noir. "Emily's Reserve" is a single-vineyard Pinot Noir aged 10 months in a 33% new French oak, 66% neutral oak. It shows elegant cherry and pomegranate fruit with balancing acidity and soft tannins.
