2007 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2007 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is a young and completely delicious bright garnet red with rich fresh blackberry and raspberry fruit, perfectly balanced with subtle French oak spice. It is drinking beautifully now, and will age gracefully for five to eight years. This Bordeaux-style blend is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon from Ink Grade Vineyard on Howell Mountain, with 8% Petit Verdot, 5% Malbec and 2% Merlot providing color, depth, and complexity. Aged 12 months in new French oak, 8 months in neutral French oak. 25 cases made.

 2007 Sleepy Hollow Vineyard Chardonnay

This Chardonnay is sourced entirely from the famed Sleepy Hollow Vineyard in Santa Lucia Highlands, Monterey County planted in the early 1970's. The cool marine climate, soils and exposures result in exceptional Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs from this region. The 2007 Remington Sleepy Hollow Chardonnay shows delicate citrus and pear fruits which are perfectly balanced by a crisp acidity, and spiced with a delicate touch of French oak. Drinking beautifully now, it will remain vibrant for another three to four years.

2007 Amber Ridge Pinot Noir

This Pinot Noir is sourced entirely from the Amber Ridge Vineyard in the Russian River Valley, Sonoma County. This rising-star vineyard was planted in 2000 and is now reaching full stride. The 2007 Remington Amber Ridge Pinot Noir shows a balance of rich black cherry fruit with firm acidity, soft tannins, and a restrained use of French oak. Delicious now, it will benefit from cellaring for another three to seven years.
