2009 Grist Vineyard Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma

Bronze Medal Winner, 2011 San Francisco International Wine Competition

The Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County is one of the world's finest regions for the production of Zinfandel. Grist Vineyard is a dry-farmed Zin vineyard which produces excellent fruit year-in and year-out. We aim for elegance in our Zinfandels, with a balance of the spicy red berry fruit, acidity, tannins, and mild oak influence. In this regard, our Zinfandels are closer stylistically to a Sangiovese of Tuscany than with any of the ultra-ripe massive Zins so much in vogue in California. 97% Grist Zinfandel, 3% Petite Sirah from Teldelschi Vineyard. 14.7% alc. 25 cases made.

$34 per bottle/$367.20 per case ($30.60 per bottle @ 10% case discount)
